The idea of a Northwest Arkansas retirement community with a full array of senior living services has been germinating for several years. Its realization is the product of Northwest Arkansas Senior Services, Inc. (NWASSI), a local not-for-profit corporation dedicated to building a nurturing environment to serve the needs of seniors. Each step in the development of the property is driven by the vision of a Board of Directors made up of local volunteers. Legacy Village will create a living legacy that embraces all the values and qualities unique to the Northwest Arkansas area.

Truly, our dream is to build a premier seniors campus that will answer the varied needs of our community’s seniors now and for many years to come.

The long-range goal is to complete a campus that provides a continuum of care for seniors. Our dream is to build a full array of caring services to complement independent living in the Garden Homes. Our long-term plans include a cooperative apartment complex, a skilled nursing facility, a new concept in assisted living and a model facility for Alzheimer’s care.
